very pretty 12g ring. It is really hard to twist definitely need tools I scratched mine a tiny bit like another reviewer said but it's near the seem and barely noticeable. Love it.

I’ve had the hardest time finding 12g septum jewelry that will hug my nose and I couldn’t have found a better ring. Super comfortable and made sturdy so I know it’ll last! Only “problem” is that it’s a solid so a little difficult to open/close on your own, but once you get it in, it’s perfect!

Ordered this in 14k gold filled for my septum and I love the high quality and high shine of this piece. It’s so difficult to find a 12 gauge ring in a smaller diameter (8mm) and this fits the bill. But because of that, it was extremely difficult to open, insert, and close (description does recommend to have a professional insert it) and I ended up scratching the ends a bit due to the tools I was using. The ends are hidden in my septum anyway and I love it nonetheless. And because it’s gold filled, I know it will never tarnish so I will be wearing it for a very long time.

This is the second ring I've bought from seller. After inserting and taking out the first one a few times it was too deformed and I loved it so much I bought another. The seller recommended going to a piercing shop to insert it, but after calling around, most people told me they don't insert outside jewelry that you didn't buy at their shop. One nice guy recommended buying nylon-coated pliers. I found a 2-pack of small nylon pliers for $15 and they work⁸ed perfectly. They didn't mark the septum ring and it was much easier, although still took a bit of time and patience. Those pliers did slip a lot and so it was a bit dangerous. If you do go that route be careful and have someone help you. Also, this time I plan to leave it in, this ring isn't the kind you want to be taking in and out. Best wishes to all.
